We are looking for a driven, analytical, and relationship-oriented colleague to join our underwriting team in Oslo as a Liability Underwriter. Do you have experience in commercial P&C insurance and are eager to work in a global organization with clear goals and ambitions? If so, this might be the perfect opportunity for you

As an underwriter, you will manage your own portfolio and customer relationships. Your assignments will include setting premiums, preparing quotations, conducting negotiations, and assessing exposure and risk. You will underwrite new and renewal business, building strong relationships to support customer and business growth.

You will also actively contribute ideas and help develop new or improved propositions, drawing on technical expertise as well as customer and distributor insights. Additionally, you will proactively seek new business opportunities and, over time, develop into a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration or Economics
• Previous experience in commercial P&C insurance
• Previous experience as an underwriter is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian

• Eager to deliver great customer service and build strong relationships
• Willingness to learn about the underwriting process and insurance products
• Interest in developing knowledge of risk analysis, selection and pricing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident in presenting ideas, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Interest in gaining technical knowledge of underwriting core processes
• Keen to develop risk and business awareness

As a person, you are a team player and an analytical thinker. You have a strong business and customer focus, and interest in customer relationships and negotiation. You are fast moving and flexible. You like working independently but with good abilities to co-operate with both customers and colleagues.
