Som Business Developer i Kantar Insights får du en nøkkelrolle i vår kommersielle satsing i Norge. Du vil samarbeide tett med kolleger innen kundeutvikling og leveranse for å identifisere og sikre nye muligheter, og bidra til å levere innovative løsninger innen merkevareprogrammer, reklame-testing, salgsmodellering, innovasjon og kundeopplevelse (CX). Ditt arbeid vil ha direkte innvirkning på hvordan vi hjelper kundene våre med å løse komplekse utfordringer og skape vekst.

Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Identifisere og kvalifisere nye forretningsmuligheter, og bygge en solid pipeline gjennom aktiv oppsøkende arbeid (telefon, e-post, digitale kanaler).
  • Lede salgsprosessen fra A til Å: Kontakt, behovsavklaring, løsningsdesign, tilbudsutforming og closing – i tett samarbeid med kundeansvarlig og fageksperter.
  • Følge opp markedsaktiviteter webinar og nyhetsbrev) og konvertere interesse til kundemøter.
  • Forberede og holde engasjerende produktdemonstrasjoner og presentasjoner som viser verdien av våre løsninger.
  • Bygge og vedlikeholde sterke relasjoner med både nye og eksisterende kunder.
  • Samarbeide på tvers av organisasjonen for å utvikle skreddersydde tilbud og sikre en sømløs kundeopplevelse.
  • Rapportere jevnlig om pipeline og resultater til ledelsen.

Vi ser etter deg som har

  • 2–5 års erfaring med forretningsutvikling eller salg, gjerne innen teknologi, markedsanalyse eller markedsføringsløsninger.
  • Dokumentert evne til å drive nye salg fra første kontakt til closing, med fokus på oppsøkende salg.
  • Strategisk og strukturert arbeidsstil, og evne til å kommunisere og presentere godt på både norsk og engelsk.
  • Gode samarbeidsevner, positiv innstilling og utholdenhet til å håndtere både oppturer og motgang.
  • Relevant høyere utdanning (Bachelor eller Master).

Are you passionate about driving growth and shaping the brands of tomorrow through data, insights, and innovation? Kantar, the world's leading data, insights, and consulting company, is looking for a proactive and ambitious Junior Business Developer to join our Insights team in Oslo.

About The Role
As a Business Developer in our Insights division, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of Kantar in Norway. You will work closely with Client Development and Client Delivery teams to identify and secure new business opportunities, and help deliver innovative solutions in brand programmes, advertising testing, sales modelling, innovation, and customer experience (CX). Your efforts will directly impact our ability to help clients navigate complex challenges and seize growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline through proactive outreach (phone, email, digital channels).
  • Lead the sales process end-to-end: outreach, discovery, solution framing, proposal development, and closing, in close collaboration with Client Partners and subject matter experts.
  • Follow up on marketing activities (e.g. whitepaper downloads, newsletters) and convert interest into client meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the unique value of our solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop tailored proposals and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Report regularly on pipeline progress and outcomes to management.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years' experience in business development or sales, preferably within technology, market research, or marketing solutions.
  • Proven ability to drive new business from first contact to close, with a focus on outbound prospecting.
  • Experience using CRM systems and understanding how marketing activities support sales conversion.
  • Strategic, structured, and able to communicate and present effectively in both Norwegian and English.
  • Strong collaboration skills, positive mindset, and resilience to handle both successes and setbacks.
  • Relevant university degree (Bachelor's or Master's).

Ways of working

  • Oslo‑based with hybrid flexibility; some travel in Norway and the Nordics for client meetings and events.
  • Adheres to Kantar's standards for quality, information security and data protection; completes required compliance training.
