You will learn how business data—covering products, policies, claims, customers, and financials is organized, documented, and improved for quality.
About The Role
As a Junior Data Business Analyst, you will report to the Head of Data and your main responsibilities will include:
- Organize and structure business data across different domains.
- Document data entities, attributes, and field definitions.
- Collaborate with data owners to capture and harmonize data definitions.
- Track basic data quality measures such as accuracy and completeness.
- Support small initiatives to improve data quality.
- Contribute to the business glossary and metadata catalog.
- (Optional) Explore and analyze data using Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools.
About You
- You must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with an interest in improving data quality.
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Curiosity about data structures, systems, and their impact on business outcomes.
Technical Skills:
- Basic experience with Excel and/or Power BI.
- Interest in learning data management, data quality, or governance principles.
- Familiarity with insurance concepts is a plus (not required).
- (Optional) Exposure to Power Query, Python, or metadata tools.
