SENIOR MANAGER, FP&A

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. As a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis function, this role will report to the FP&A Director, with ownership of consolidated financial insights reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes. This individual will be a trusted partner across the business, providing financial insights that inform decisions at the executive level.

The ideal candidate brings a strong financial background and commercial acumen, a solid understanding of the omnichannel apparel industry and business models -and a proactive approach to business partnership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and/or establish the monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range performance governance and planning cycles, delivering clear and actionable financial insights to internal leadership and external ownership

A key contributor in the strategic planning processes, able to model scenarios and challenge assumptions with both financial rigor and commercial intuition

Owning the "total business view", integrating insights across various channels and functions to deliver a clear and cohesive financial narrative

Partner closely with the FP&A team's channel owners to stay on top of cross-channel performance drivers to ensure holistic financial context is provided to leadership

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including Business Unit and Functional Leaders, Group Finance, Accounting, Planning and Operations

Take a lead role in supporting insights and forecasting for HQ OPEX by building relationships and collaboration with Functional heads and Group Finance

Continuously improve and develop reporting to suit the needs of the business, including ad-hoc insights, being able to work cross-functionally to gather and interpret information

Represent the function in leadership and decision forums and supporting decision-making at the highest level

Support the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and tools (e.g., Excel, Anaplan, BPC, BO) to scale with the organization's needs

We believe you have experience working as

An FP&A lead or senior finance business partner for a multi-channel business (e.g., wholesale, retail, e-commerce), ideally in the apparel or sporting goods space. You understand the operational nuances and P&L drivers of each channel.

A senior-level FP&A professional with direct ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a product-driven business.

A business partner across commercial teams and with functional leaders, with a deep understanding of cost and revenue drivers across the value chain.

Ideal Experience & Skills

7-10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting or strategic finance roles, partnering with commercial functions

Relevant bachelor's or master's degree, however equivalent experience and a demonstrated ability to perform in a similar role is key for the successful candidate

Strong analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into business insights quickly and accurately, with excellent Excel and presentation skills

Demonstrated experience working across departments and presenting to executive stakeholders.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Prior experience in an omnichannel environment, preferably in the apparel or sporting goods sector

Strong Excel user, familiarity with financial, reporting or planning systems such as Anaplan, BPC, Business Objects, M3 or similar is preferred

Other Requirements

Based in Oslo with hybrid work expectations

Flexibility for occasional early/late meetings with North American counterparts

Fluency in English
