We are searching for an experienced
Senior Technical Team Manager - Therapy Products
to join our global team in Stavanger, Norway.

About the role:

The Therapy Products Group is focused on products used in time-critical medical emergencies. The products are available globally and the primary users are emergency care personnel. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Team Manager for Therapy Products to lead our team of engineers, in Stavanger, Norway.

In this role, you will oversee the technical product development, maintenance, and support of our therapy products, and lead a team of Technical Leads and engineers. Some of what you will be doing:

  • As a Senior Technical Team Manager Therapy Products, you will be responsible for the technical products' strategy and choice of technology
  • You will oversee the technical product development, maintenance, and support of our therapy products
  • You will be part of a product group leadership team focusing on the therapy product portfolio
  • You will be leading and managing a team of engineers with a cross-functional background in physical product - and software development

Who we envision would fit the role:

We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, strong leadership skills and experience in physical product development.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field; A cybernetics or mechanical background is seen as a benefit
  • 7+ years of experience within product development, preferably within medical device development
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards for medical devices
  • Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and motivate a team
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills; Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite, and professional language skills in a Scandinavian language is seen as an advantage
