HVAC / HVAC discipline lead - Offshore Projects

End Date: 31 December 2027
Primarily office-based with the possibility of working from home one day per week.
Remote work from abroad is not permitted.
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Discipline Lead to support engineering and project execution across all phases of large offshore projects. This is a highly independent senior role requiring deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Contract Interaction
Analyze contracts, specifications, and project requirements.
Participate in technical discussions and reviews with clients.
Team Leadership
Lead and coordinate the HVAC discipline team.
Oversee task planning, progress, and quality of deliverables.
Step in to support individual engineering tasks when required.
Design Development
Develop Basis of Design, HVAC Philosophy, and System Description documents.
Prepare Schematic Air Flow Diagrams and D&ID drawings.
Technical Contributions
Perform or review airflow and cooling load calculations.
Select HVAC equipment based on capacity, suitability, and project requirements.
Provide inputs to the HVAC 3D model.
Follow up with equipment suppliers and manage technical interfaces.
Project Support
Provide senior HVAC expertise from concept phase through construction and handover.
Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination.
Ensure consistent and integrated project delivery.
EducationBachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
Work ExperienceMinimum 10 years of HVAC discipline experience on large offshore projects
Proven team leadership experience (mandatory).
Experience from greenfield and C-study to handover phases.
Experience with HVDC or wind projects is an advantage.
QualificationsStrong commitment to deadlines and high-quality deliverables.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Proactive and willing to share knowledge.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Familiarity with relevant offshore standards.
