SOUS CHEFHamar, NorwayWe are strengthening our kitchen team in Hamar and are looking for a Sous Chef who can operate as a strong second -in -command, ensuring quality, structure, and reliability across daily service and events. This role is essential to delivering consistency within a scratch -kitchen environment. Role Purpose You will support the Head Chef in daily execution, workflow management, and team coordination. The role requires a structured, solutions -driven professional who values craft, collaboration, and operational stability. Key Responsibilities • Execute high -quality food preparation across breakfast, lunch, and event services • Support the Head Chef with production planning, prep management, and kitchen organization • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff • Step into leadership responsibilities when the Head Chef is off duty • Contribute to menu updates, prep efficiency, and process refinement • Participate in rotational weekend and occasional evening shifts Working Hours 37.5–45 hours weekly Core operating window: 06:00–18:30 Compensation Structure • Base rate: approx. EUR 19.91/hour • Evening supplement: approx. EUR 1.38/hour • Weekend supplement: approx. EUR 2.62/hour Employment Terms • Two -month trial period • Two -month mutual notice period • Full compliance with Norwegian labor legislation • Long -term commitment (minimum one year) preferred Housing Support Optional staff housing available via salary deduction (EUR 431–517/month). Ideal Candidate A hands -on, dependable operator with strong interpersonal skills, a structured mindset, and the ability to maintain quality and flow in a fast -paced, heritage -driven hospitality setting.
