Your Role

We are looking for a
Senior Architect with experience in data center design
to join our growing Mission Critical team in Oslo. In this role, you will:

• Lead and contribute significantly to the production of master plans and detailed architectural designs of mission-critical facilities, with a focus on data centers
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into architectural concepts
• Contribute to the development of WSP's advisory, design, and delivery strategy within the digital infrastructure sector
• Actively support and contribute to the success of the team by collaborating openly, communicating effectively, and sharing knowledge across disciplines

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in architecture plus minimum 7 years of experience as an architect, with a strong portfolio including data centers or other high-tech/mission-critical facilitiesDeep understanding of technical requirements for data center design, including cooling systems, power distribution, security, and scalability
• Experience with project leadership or international team coordination in complex, multidisciplinary environments, with a strong foundation in construction delivery
• A strong team player mindset — someone who thrives in collaboration, supports colleagues, and contributes to a positive team culture
• Advanced skills in Revit, BIM workflows, and relevant digital design and collaboration tools (e.g., Rhino, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo)
• Demonstrated experience in permitting advisory services, including acting as the Responsible Applicant (Ansvarlig søker) in accordance with Norwegian Planning and Building Act requirements
• Strong communication skills — visual, verbal, and written
• Fluency in English and Norwegian
