We are looking for a Senior Unreal Engine 5 developer for VR/AR

Do you have a strong drive to implement gamification with Unreal Engine 5 to create tomorrow's Immersive experiences?

We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 that will play a key role in developing a new exciting product line for simulators using AR/VR with several of our biggest clients. To achieve this, we will need a lot of R&D and develop a production pipeline capable of developing strong products that are easy to use and solve significant needs for the clients.

Our goal is to create experiences that combines the physical and digital world and take it to the next level. This will offer you an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and grow as a developer.

What are the role responsibilities?

You will be responsible for the technical direction of a new product line of VR/AR simulators made with Unreal Engine.


• Responsible for technical direction of this line of products.


• Build and maintain a robust and scalable code base, serving as the foundation for current and future development.


• Support and mentor the technical team, foster growth, collaboration, and knowledge sharing when needed.


• Conduct scope and risk assessments and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients, acting as a key technical partner throughout the development lifecycle.


• Ensure high-quality product delivery, meeting client specifications, performance benchmarks, and user experience expectations.

Qualifications


• Excellent proficiency in C++ programming.


• In-depth knowledge of Unreal's core framework and subsystems.


• Hands-on experience with multiplayer systems and network replication in Unreal.


• Knowledge of the Android framework and experience with Java.


• High ability to execute and have completed several products on a professional level.


• Generalist mindset, with a strong ability to learn quickly and tackle complex technical challenges.


• 4+ years Unreal Engine 4/5 experience.


• Have a high degree of autonomy and work well with others.


• Experience creating solid user experiences.


• Familiarity with VR SDKs such as HTC Vive, Vision Pro, or similar technologies is a plus.


• Work in our offices in Oslo, Norway.
