You will report to the QA Manager in Oslo.

In this role, you will:

  • Schedule Testing Sessions: Monitor the project's development stages, schedule testing sessions based on milestones, and conduct necessary test sessions.
  • Plan and Coordinate Testing Tasks: Ensure all ticket descriptions are comprehensive and prepared for efficient tester initiation.
  • Monitor Testing Progress: Follow up on daily testing results, guide testers in incident management, and clarify issues with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Participate in Team Meetings: Engage in planning meetings and daily stand-ups to align with team and project goals.
  • Perform Manual Testing: Conduct manual functional testing to support the testing team and uphold testing standards.
  • Optimize Development Processes: Collaborate with the tech lead and product manager to enhance and streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to Automated Testing: Provide insights and ideas for designing automated tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Support Tester Development: Collect feedback from manual testers, help them improve their skills, and communicate their suggestions for QA process enhancements to the QA manager.
  • Facilitate Third-Party Testing: Manage relationships with third-party testing companies and crowd testing platforms (such as Applause) to ensure efficient and effective external testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with game testing is a big plus
