Join us in delivering Substation Automation Systems

We are currently searching two Technical Lead Engineers for our SCADA/RTU and Control & Protection system deliveries that cover auxiliary power supply, medium voltage switchgears, transformers and high voltage breakers/SWGs. Our clients are mainly in the distribution and transmission sector, but also within power generation and industry sector as well as sustainable solutions for mobility.

Technical Lead Engineer

As Technical Lead Engineer for Substation Automation Systems in Hitachi Energy, you will have a vital role leading the technical work and driving the engineering quality, engineering cost management and ensuring needed engineering progress.

Your responsibilities

Translating customer's requirements into solutions of Hitachi Energy Is the face to customer for all technical aspects starting from kick-off until final handover Follow-up that tasks are defined, done and according to required quality, cost and time Supporting bid & proposal to find competitive solutions that meets the expectations of the customer Gives feedback into the organization to optimize solutions, calculations and work procedures Contribute to projects’ risk and opportunity handling


Your profile/background

Solid experience from electrical system principles and solutions within the Norwegian energy supply Strong knowledge in SCADA/RTU and/or C&P systems and relevant products Able to understand customers' operations and to explain how Hitachi Energy systems support them Being solution oriented and likes to finalize things Having skills to lead technical teams Sees the importance of networking within Hitachi Energy and having a mindset to co-operate with customers and suppliers Excellent communication skills Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages
