Opportunity 

The Customer Identity team at Coop is responsible for developing and supporting high-quality solutions that ensure secure and seamless authentication, authorization, and identity management across our software ecosystem. We serve millions of users and have great ambitions to enhance user experience by providing innovative technologies and secure and reliable services.

As a Technical Lead in the Customer Identity team at Coop, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical excellence of our services. You will guide and facilitate learning among colleagues, serving as the team's ambassador in all technical aspects. What you will do 

Your responsibilities will include: 

Architecting and optimizing the performance of our services, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards.  Identifying opportunities for improvement of the team's services and driving their implementation.  Taking an active role in setting team goals and driving the team towards achieving them through clear communication and consistent support.  Representing the team in meetings and serving as the primary technical point of contact.  Coaching and developing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.  Establishing collaboration within the team and across departments to achieve shared goals.  Playing a key role in the hiring process, ensuring we bring in top talent that aligns with our technical vision. 

Skills and knowledge 

To excel in this role, you will need: 

Proficiency in Go, with a broader understanding of other programming languages.  Hands-on experience developing and scaling services.  A strong DevOps mindset, with expertise in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.  Hands-on experience with design of distributed systems.  Practical knowledge of OAuth 2. Proven leadership skills from previous roles, with a record of guiding teams to success.
