About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software development, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for driving technical excellence. This role involves leading a team of talented engineers and data scientists, managing project timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding results.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Address technical challenges and roadblocks. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Allocate resources effectively to balance multiple projects and priorities. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and support.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for growth and development within the team

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of tech industry work experience as a software engineer or technical lead.
  • Strong background in software development with hands-on experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).
  • Proficiency in software architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with recommendation systems, algorithmic experimentation, and research, and advanced conversion optimization.
  • Excellent communicator, able to articulate business questions and use mathematical techniques to derive answers from available data.
  • Experience communicating analysis results with product and leadership teams to influence product strategy.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and statistical algorithms used in marketing analytics.
  • Ability to navigate complex business organizations and manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction, with a willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in advertising technology and affiliate marketing is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or software development.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, machine learning, or other advanced technologies.
