Role Overview

The Customer Identity team at Coop is tasked with creating and maintaining robust solutions that guarantee secure and seamless authentication, authorization, and identity management throughout our software ecosystem. Serving millions of users, we aim to enhance user experience through innovative technologies and reliable services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Lead within the Customer Identity team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the technical excellence of our offerings. Your role will involve:

  • Designing and optimizing the performance of our services to meet the highest technical standards.
  • Identifying areas for enhancement within the team's services and spearheading their implementation.
  • Actively participating in setting team objectives and guiding the team towards achieving them through effective communication and ongoing support.
  • Representing the team in discussions and acting as the primary technical liaison.
  • Mentoring and developing team members to elevate their skills and expertise.
  • Fostering collaboration within the team and across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Playing a crucial role in the recruitment process to attract top talent aligned with our technical vision.

Required Skills and Experience

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • Expertise in Go, along with a comprehensive understanding of other programming languages.
  • Practical experience in developing and scaling services.
  • A strong DevOps mindset, with proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience in designing distributed systems.
  • Solid knowledge of OAuth 2.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities from previous roles, with a history of guiding teams to success.
