Role Overview

The Customer Identity team at Coop is tasked with creating and maintaining high-quality solutions that guarantee secure and seamless authentication, authorization, and identity management across our software ecosystem. Serving millions of users, we aim to enhance user experience through innovative technologies and reliable services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Lead within the Customer Identity team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the technical excellence of our offerings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and optimizing the performance of our services to meet the highest technical standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement within the team's services and spearheading their implementation.
  • Actively participating in setting team objectives and guiding the team towards achieving them through effective communication and support.
  • Representing the team in various meetings and acting as the primary technical liaison.
  • Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Fostering collaboration within the team and across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Playing a crucial role in the recruitment process to ensure we attract top talent aligned with our technical vision.

Required Skills and Experience

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • Expertise in Go, along with a solid understanding of other programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and scaling services.
  • A strong DevOps mindset, with proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Practical experience in designing distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities from previous roles, with a history of guiding teams to success.
