Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Engineer to join our team at Vertiv. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their power systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving issues related to Vertiv power products, including UPS systems and other power solutions.
  • Field Service: Perform on-site maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of Vertiv power products, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with back offices and department management, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of service tasks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with established safety policies, codes of practice, and relevant legislation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including daily paperwork and job debriefing.
  • Availability: Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a technical service environment, with expertise in UPS equipment or similar.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Field Service Experience: Previous experience in field service is essential.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Driving License: Clean, valid driving license.
Working Conditions
  • Travel: Frequent travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Physical Demands: Occasional heavy lifting required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
