Product Engineer for Innovative Solutions

As a Product Developer at Flokk, you will engage in a dynamic cross-functional team, focused on creating highly industrialized products for global markets.

In this role, you will oversee the engineering of office chairs that incorporate smart and innovative technical features. Your efforts will lead to products that excel in functionality, premium quality, and cost-effective mass production.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Design, prototype, test, and engineer products, mechanisms, and solutions.
  • Collaborate in integrated product development within cross-functional teams.
  • Engineer materials such as thermoplastics, cast and extruded aluminum, formed steel, and assemblies.
  • Utilize Solidworks CAD for modeling from concept to industrialized product.
  • Conduct FEM analysis using Solidworks plugins.
  • Assemble and test prototypes.
  • Oversee tooling and industrialization processes.

Your qualifications should include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A relevant educational background, preferably an MSc in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in parametric 3D modeling of complex components and assemblies.
  • Experience in 2D drafting for production drawings.
  • Familiarity with molded components, including cast aluminum and thermoplastics.
  • Fluency in one of the Nordic languages and English.
