Job Description

This position involves performing 2nd line investigations into RF interference issues and collaborating with the Norwegian Communication Authority. The role also entails conducting drive tests and investigating coverage-related faults nationwide, as well as participating in radio network optimization workshops.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd line technical support and training to the NOC regarding alarms and customer-reported poor coverage.
  • Represent Motorola Solutions in a technical capacity when interacting with customers and the Authority.
  • Assess and engage with the Norwegian Communication Authority when required.
  • Offer support to 1st line engineers in diagnosing and rectifying faults.
  • Own and drive escalated faults within Motorola Solutions and towards other vendors.
  • Ensure that all fault cases are handled within defined SLAs and update incidents regularly.
  • Assist with site builds and moves, including site surveys and configuration.
  • Be prepared to travel within Norway at short notice and remain away from home for several days.
  • Operate necessary support and test equipment competently.
  • Perform drive tests and analyze site performance data to investigate accordingly.
Basic Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English.
  • Driving license (category B).
  • Security clearance to Secret or nothing restricting clearance when applied for.

10-25% travel.
