Job Description
Manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc Managing project safety and environmental requirements Managing project timelines, risks and reporting Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery Contract Execution: Drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates. Working closely with project team/s to ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documents Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Qualifications
Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure – HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security and BMS Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction A minimum of 5 - 10 years project management experience, gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment. A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
