About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our European Wind and Solar business area. As a key member of our Project Delivery Unit, you'll be responsible for managing large-scale infrastructure renewable projects across Ireland and the UK. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of these projects, from development to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Coordinate project teams, including external consultants, contractors, and service providers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Statkraft's Capital Project Model (CPM) and other relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular project status updates to the Project Steering Committee and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain high environmental and HSSE standards, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or natural sciences, with documented extensive experience.
  • Third-level engineering college degree.
  • Work experience in a similar field of managing renewable energy development projects, with a proven track record of delivering renewable/large-scale infrastructure projects through construction.
  • Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technology, with experience of contracts and technical appendices for main technology supply contracts.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and management skills, including organisational ability and a target-oriented approach.
  • Ability to concisely frame issues, providing context, analysis, recommendations, and risk/benefit, both in written and verbal format to project teams.
  • Independent self-starter with a clear ability to manage a large workload, often providing support to processes managed by colleagues, while prioritizing tasks and effectively juggling competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
