Job Description

Statkraft's IT department is a trusted partner for digitalization and innovation. The team's mission is to strengthen and mature Statkraft's collective digital capabilities, enabling the company to achieve its goals and opportunities. The main responsibility is to operate, improve, secure, develop, and maintain reliable, efficient, and modern infrastructure and platform services.

The Project Management unit in IT is responsible for managing all IT and digitalization projects in Statkraft. The unit also oversees test management and the IT Project Management Office (PMO). With a team of about 50 experienced project managers in Oslo and Düsseldorf, the unit is well-equipped to handle complex projects.

We are now strengthening the team and seeking senior project managers to lead IT and digitalization projects for the business areas Markets, Operations, and Corporate Functions in Statkraft. This is a unique opportunity to work across departments and functions, making a difference and leading highly important projects that support our mission and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, control, and execute complex and business-critical IT/digitalization projects
  • Ensure collaboration and project results with resources from different units within IT and the business side, delivering value supported by various project models
  • Work closely with project owners and key stakeholders to maximize business value through IT and digital solutions
  • Be a team player, supporting, collaborating, and contributing to an inspiring working environment with the rest of the project management team, sharing skills and experiences to raise team performance and capabilities

Qualifications:

  • High-performing candidates with drive, high ethical standards, and a clear 'can-do' attitude
  • Essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions
  • Experience in leading business-critical IT and digitalization projects, with solid experience in complex projects in larger global organizations
  • Passion for green energy, interest in technology, organizational understanding, and curiosity about people and their motivation
  • Key competence areas could be within software implementation, development, cloud, integration, security, software acquisition, etc.
  • Experience from some of our customer areas is an advantage
  • Ambassador of change management and motivated by collaborating with skilled colleagues to reach ambitious project goals
  • Working experience from consulting companies or similar roles in global industrial companies
  • Strong communication capabilities and talent for building networks and trusted relationships
  • Experience with agile IT project management methods (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, SAFe), software tools, methodologies, and best practices in this field
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CSM) are a plus
  • Higher education at university level or equivalent
  • Fluency in English, preferably in addition to one of the Scandinavian languages
