The Role

As a People Assistant your tasks and responsibilities will generally be to provide support in all relevant processes and tasks of the local People (HR) function. You will be involved in onboarding and employee engagement activities, as well as contribute to the handling of HR administration. We will do our best to provide a flexible role, adjusted to both the needs of your studies as well as to our relevant business needs. We expect the workload to be once a week during normal working hours, with the chance of an increase to twice a week. You will have the possibility to work additional hours during peak periods.

You will more specifically:

  • provide support to employees regarding people and employment policies
  • support recruitment processes
  • manage HR administration within personnel related areas
  • participate in relevant HR projects
  • secure efficiency and process enhancement locally

You will collaborate closely with the People Manager, whom you will also report to. The workplace will be at our Norwegian head office at Bjørvika, Oslo.

Who you are

You are currently studying HR, organizational psychology, leadership or similar in Oslo. You have a minimum of two years left before graduating from your current program.

Further, we expect that:

  • you have an interest, and preferably some experience, in HR processes
  • you have an interest in HR Technology
  • you have good capabilities with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • you have excellent Norwegian and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • you preferably have some relevant previous work experience.

As a person, you are a fast learner with strong communication and collaboration skills, eager to gain and develop business and subject matter understanding. Proactive and flexible, you take initiative in your work with a can-do attitude and a focus on providing excellent service, and you thrive in an autonomous environment. Well-organized and detail-oriented, you maintain a quality and compliance mindset.
