Senior Production Planning Analyst

Tasks:
- Work systematically to reduce risks and issues impacting throughput, minimizing rushed orders for procurement and unplanned stops in the workshop.
- Assess needs across various projects, considering both customer and internal projects.
- Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at maximizing throughput.
- Perform AX master planning analysis to identify equipment availability for planned and high-probability projects, including parts on shelves, in the service queue, and those requiring procurement.
- Analyze and adjust safety stock, minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Prioritize and plan service queues, based on project needs and readiness requirements.
- Provide better visibility to procurement for upcoming needs. Objective to group orders where applicable, to obtain better prices and delivery times.
- Support departments and project managers in prioritizing tasks, with a focus on optimizing workflows and minimizing workshop disruptions.
- Assist Sales, Commercial teams, and Project Managers in forecasting production scheduling and budgets.
- Reports to Senior Manager, I&I Operations, EH-West,
- Collaborate closely with other departments and project managers to ensure timely delivery to maximize throughput.
- Develop strong relationships with internal customers,
- Maintains strong emphasis on customer satisfaction throughout the decision-making process, ensuring timely fulfillment of all requirements in alignment with the quality system's standards.
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor degree within relevant subjects. Strong relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Good skills in utilization of IT tools as Microsoft Project, Jira, AX and/or other ERP systems, Power BI etc.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent ability to efficiently prioritize tasks, advice and mobilize the organization to achieve agreed targets.
- Technical understanding of production techniques, assembly and testing
- Significant ability to work in an international environment, and to motivate, support and advise colleagues.
- Significant ability to work precisely and independently, persistent, self-driven and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
