Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Claims Manager to join our team. As the Senior Claims Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire claims process for our marine and offshore energy division. You will work closely with our clients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee all claims related to our marine and offshore energy division.
– Lead a team of claims specialists and provide guidance and support to ensure the accurate and timely handling of claims.
– Review claims and determine the validity and coverage, and negotiate settlements with clients and insurance companies.
– Develop and implement efficient claims management processes and procedures.
– Monitor and analyze claim trends and propose strategies to mitigate risks and prevent future claims.
– Liaise with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies, surveyors, and legal experts.
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients and ensure excellent customer service is provided throughout the claims process.
– Provide regular reports and updates on claims status to senior management.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine and offshore energy claims management.
– Strong knowledge of insurance and claims processes and regulations.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
