Senior Consultant, Projects & Development

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Oslo, Norway

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Projects & Development in the Global Logistics department, the Projects & Development team is supporting Circle K's Global Logistics Organization and is responsible for driving improvements in our operations related to business processes and technology. The team consists of Project Managers, System & Solution Specialists, as well as Logistics SMEs.

To strengthen the team, we are now searching for a Senior Consultant, Projects & Development, to be an all-round resource supporting the broader Global Logistics project portfolio. The role will include responsibilities related to:

  1. Project management and/or support
  2. Data analysis and improvement identification
  3. Process improvement
  4. Change management
  5. Technology, systems and solutions roll-out

What You'll Do

  1. Identify, analyze, and implement processes and improvements across our operations to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  2. Lead and/or support deployment and enhancement of systems and solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of global and regional stakeholders.
  3. Work closely with our operations and planning teams, IT, and other departments to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the capabilities in the organization, ensuring consistent use of best practices and systems.
  5. Lead and/or support in change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and systems.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating new approaches to continuously improve processes.

What You'll Need

Experience

  1. MSc degree within Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Economics or similar
  2. Experience from Management Consulting and/or complex global organizations
  3. Minimum 3 years experience working with projects
  4. Experience working with digital transformation is an advantage
  5. Basic coding knowledge is an advantage
  6. Any education related to IT is considered an advantage
  7. Fluency in English, both written and oral
