As Aker Solutions' global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a:MC Engineer/Coordinator (CCS EPCIC project) with experience of onshore / offshore projects.

Aker Solutions' New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for MC scoping activities within given area of responsibility for the project.
  • Planning, preparation, organization and execution of MC activities within areas of responsibility, in accordance with the project procedures and plans.
  • Jointly responsible for the establishment of governing documents, procedures and work instructions as required for MC within given responsibility.
  • Lead / Execute of MC activities within given responsibilities.
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Technical / Bachelor's degree in relevant subject. Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience.
  • Good knowledge of the work processes within the discipline that is being carried out.
  • Minimum 2-year experience from EPC processes within Topside and facilities / Renewables Segments. Proofed skills in MIPS - MS Office 365.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work in a team across disciplines.
  • Ability to execute and take responsibility for the projects you are involved in. A solution-orientated approach with a strong technical interest.
Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway. Another location in Norway is possible. Contact recruiter for discussion.
Contract duration: 28.03.2027 with option for extensions.
