Kort jobbsammedrag:

Hovedformålet med jobben som Event Manager (EM) er å selge og utvikle/skape lokale og globale arrangementer og konferanser. EM opererer eller jobber med team i større prosjekter eller individuelt på mindre prosjekter. EM jobber for å nå mål satt av selskapet.

Nøkkelansvar og oppgaver:

  1. Leverer på den mest effektive måten et utmerket produkt med både kvalitet og kreativitet, etter GBTs standard. Og nå mål satt opp av selskapet.
  2. Mersalg til relevante kunder og relasjonsarbeid på nye og eksisterende kunder.
  3. Lede eller delta i prosjektteamet gjennom prosjektidéstadiet, behovsanalyse, utvikling av konsepter og presentasjon for kunde ved behov.
  4. Forhandle leverandør- og 3.partsavtaler.
  5. EM er i stand til å reise med kunden og levere det som er avtalt og samtidig gjøre additivt salg til nåværende kunde samt finne nye kunder på arrangementet.
  6. Ressursestimering, planlegging og ledelse for å kunne gjennomføre arrangementet.
  7. Rådgivende ny- og tilleggssalg til eksisterende og nye kunder.
  8. Delta i kunderelaterte aktiviteter.
  9. Støtte og bistå kollegaer.

Erfaring og kvalifikasjoner:

  1. Minst 5 års dokumentert erfaring fra eventbransjen som prosjektleder med erfaring fra å lede arrangementer, fra 500 personer.
  2. Erfaring fra å lede prosjektteam i større prosjekt med konsept- og innholdsproduksjon, teknikkoppsett, scenografi, grafisk design etc. Og strategisk salg og Return of Investment (ROI) for å øke kundens resultat/mål.
  3. Erfaring fra proaktivt arbeid med kunder for å beholde og utvikle eksisterende kunder samt nye salg; identifisere, administrere og drive prospekter.
  4. Erfaring fra forhandlinger om priser, juridiske vilkår og betingelser med leverandører og kunder.
  5. Erfaring fra god kommunikasjon og kundepresentasjoner, salg og forhandling i et business to business og business to consumer miljø.
  6. Sterk økonomisk innsikt; lage budsjetter og avstemming av prosjekter.
  7. Ansvarlig for gjennomføringen av arrangementet; ledelse på stedet.
