JOB PURPOSEParticipates in engineering solutions as part of the Manufacturing Engineering function, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
General description of scopePerforms with autonomy, in accordance with department and/or project instructions, schedules and processes requirements to develop the production process to improve the performance standard, establish new production processes, create production documentation, work instructions, CNC programs, and/or routings.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES- Develop the production process to improve the performance standard.
- Establish new production processes.
- Create production documentation, such as assembly & test procedures, work instructions, CNC programs, and/or routings.
- Supervise less experienced engineering personnel by checking their calculations, design conception, and engineering solutions, ensuring quality and efficiency of deliverables.
- Create written specifications for the design and/or supply of shop tools.
- Review drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure parts can be safely produced in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
- Provide Quality Notification disposition where required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of experience.
- Good command of English.
- Show evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Service/Customer oriented.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture.
- Strong basic knowledge in Manufacturing process.
- Understanding in use of CAD/CAM (NX) and PLM Systems (TCE).
- Understanding in use of Vericut.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Additional SAP knowledge will be helpful.
