Føn Energy Services (Føn) is an independent service provider to the offshore wind industry and other energy sectors. Føn currently employs 110 people and is present in Oslo, Stavanger, Ijmuiden / Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Esbjerg, the UK, and Taiwan.

We are experiencing an increased demand for our services across both traditional energy and offshore wind and are looking to expand our HSEQ team. The role will play a key part in overseeing the development and implementation of the management system, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and implementing lean methodology. The role will also play a key part in expanding our sustainability strategy.

The position is based in Stavanger, and remote working solutions will not be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Management System Development: Drive the enhancement and implementation of Føn's management system, embedding sustainability principles, ISO compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement. Proactively identify areas for optimization and lead efforts to integrate newly acquired companies into Føn's Management systems.
  • Process Optimization and Quality Improvement: Contribute to establishing and following up on organizational goals and KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead efforts to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen quality management across the organization. Utilize trend analysis and ensure thorough follow-up of non-conformance reports (NCRs) to drive improvement efforts. Collaborate with teams to implement scalable IT solutions that optimize business operations and improve customer satisfaction. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to quality and safety, implementing effective mitigation strategies to seamlessly integrate risk management into daily operations.
  • Performance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the management system aligns with regulatory and customer requirements by implementing compliance measures and conducting regular conformity assessments. Establish performance tracking mechanisms, monitor key metrics, and support reporting obligations to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Sustainability: Play a key role in integrating sustainability requirements into the existing management system, ensuring alignment with regulatory and customer demands. Drive the implementation of sustainability initiatives, monitor compliance, and follow up on reporting obligations, including ESG metrics and industry standards.
  • Leadership Support and Collaboration: Provide support to the Director of HSEQ and assist with ad-hoc tasks while fostering collaboration across departments.

Professional Experience / Qualifications
  • Relevant experience: Preferably 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Subject matter expertise: Knowledge of HSEQ and Sustainability regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Ethical Judgment: Strong ethical standards and integrity, understanding the importance of confidentiality and compliance.
  • Learning Orientation: Willingness to learn and grow within the field, embracing challenges and new responsibilities.
