Job Title: Nordic Medical Affairs Student Assistant – Temporary (Fixed Term)

Responsibilities:

The Nordic Medical Affairs Student Assistant will play a key role in supporting the medical teams across the Nordic region, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. This position involves assisting with various projects and initiatives aimed at advancing medical knowledge and ultimately improving patient outcomes. The Student Assistant is expected to facilitate the execution of the annual medical plans while adhering to all applicable internal and external rules and regulations. As part of the Lilly Nordic Student Program, the Student Assistant will also have the opportunity to gain insight into other functions within Lilly and establish connections with fellow students supporting these areas.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Nordic Medical Cardiometabolic Health team, ensuring the efficient execution of medical plans.
  2. Independently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on various medical projects, ensuring timely communication and alignment on key deliverables.
  3. Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and systems to drive medical excellence and operational efficiency.
  4. Support product complaint management across the Nordic countries, including collecting, translating, responding to, and documenting complaints.

Basic Requirements:

  1. Student in life science with at least 1 year remaining before graduation.
  2. Residing in the Oslo region.
  3. Available to work from the office at least one day per week during office hours.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  1. Proficient in English and native in one of the Nordic languages.
  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  4. Good IT skills and ability to work virtually.
  5. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in high-paced environments.
  6. Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Demonstrate collaborative mindset.
  8. Ability to understand and adhere to local pharma codes and relevant Lilly procedures.

Additional Information:

  1. This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed term position up to a maximum of 1 year.
  2. Working hours will be determined based on the needs of the medical teams, with an expected average of 15-20 hours per week.
  3. Position location: Oslo, Norway.
