We are looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d)

(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Berlin, Verl, Baden-Baden, Oslo or Stockholm – hybrid working conditions available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Explore large datasets, evaluate the data quality and model data
2. Apply statistical methods to understand consumer behavioral patterns relevant for product development and operational efficiency
3. Analyze problems to understand their root cause
4. Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build and implement analytical solutions
5. Collaborate on data-related projects
6. Visualize data and turn data into stories
7. Derive actionable insights, provide decision support, and make recommendations based on data-driven insights
8. Consult business units and functional units, such as product or commercial teams in data related questions
9. Drive, manage and lead data related projects while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your Profile:

1. Master/MBA degree in numerate subject (e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Economics, Natural Science or Engineering)
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis roles within Data & Analytics solutions
3. Proficient in a programming language such as SQL, Python or R
4. Experience in cluster analysis, machine learning
5. Understanding of how to perform data extraction and manipulation
6. Advanced in collecting, organizing, analysing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
7. Ability to identify issues, structure and conduct necessary analysis, and draw well-informed conclusions
8. Consulting skills, especially strong ability to provide insights and recommendations
9. Extraordinary communication skills to effectively convey complex information and collaborate with diverse teams
10. Ability to balance multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
11. Excellent Team player

Nice if you have:

1. Experience within the payments, risk, debt collection or factoring space
2. Experience with modern data stacks, preferably Databricks
3. Experience in quantitative research
