Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate commissioning activities within your discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process) to ensure safe and efficient startup of facilities and systems.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists according to project requirements, standards, and regulations.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with HSE requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, construction teams, operations personnel, and other discipline leads to ensure integrated and coordinated startup.
- Monitor and report progress and identify and resolve any technical issues during the commissioning phase.
- Responsible for performing and leading system testing, functional testing, and performance testing.
- Document and verify test results to ensure all systems operate according to specifications before handover to operations.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to operations personnel.
- Provide input to Completion Execution planning.
- Develop Commissioning procedures for the Discipline and input to multi-discipline procedures.
- Project Commissioning status reports incl. Hanging Gardens Schedule.
- Endorse quality of content within the Completion Tool PIMS.
- Endorse and verify Construction/MC based upon the RFCC process as defined by the Completion Philosophy.
- Document Completion Handover (RFOC`s) to Operations.
Required expertise:
- BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
- MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.
- Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
- Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.
- Willingly takes the lead when challenges arise.
- Actively promotes open and effective communication.
- Strong planning and organizing ability.

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Oslo. Mobilization to construction site Haugesund is a requirement of this position. Sporadic offshore activity.
