We are searching for a Product Manager to join us in developing the next-generation, AI-powered architecture design product. Our teams work on everything from complex 3D drawing on the web to building machine-learning-based real-time analyses. Your contributions will have a direct impact on shaping our offering. It will enable our users to discover smart, sustainable solutions and gain valuable insights in their projects.
About us
We are on a mission to help design better cities. According to the UN (United Nations), more than 90% of future population growth will happen in cities. In addition, the construction industry is responsible for 40% of global CO2 emissions. To respond to this trend and combat climate change the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry needs to change the way they work. Our tool represents a new generation of software tools enabling this change.
We are building the new generation of cloud-based software tools that will drive this change in AEC. We started our journey as a Norway-based startup Spacemaker and became part of Autodesk in 2020.
Our tools help architects, urban planners, and real estate developers find the smartest and most sustainable ways to unlock the potential of their projects. We focus on enabling outcome-based design through assessing living quality (sun, daylight potential, noise, etc.), environmental impact (embodied and operational carbon), and profitability of our users' projects.
Our way of working
We operate as a fundamentally agile organization. Our teams have the autonomy needed to innovate at speed while staying aligned. We empower our teams to determine how to develop their solutions by supporting decision-making with a bottom-up approach. We are organized in cross-functional teams, with software and machine-learning engineers collaborating with product managers and designers in each team.
In our organization, we strongly believe in servant leadership and team accountability. We also see great strengths in allowing you to define how you work (and where you work from) to be most successful. Our teams collaborate across time zones and continents.
Responsibilities
As a Product Manager, you will play a vital role in developing product features that shape the way our users do their work. You will find yourself in a vast green field of opportunity and you will need to support the team in prioritizing and navigating their environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Product Strategy: Shaping a set of features and/or offerings that drive adoption and impact across the many countries, markets, and verticals we enter.
- Product Alignment: Enabling squads to stay aligned in creating coherent offerings while experimenting and creating value for our customers. Manage and align stakeholders across the company.

- Product Discovery & Product Delivery: Discover what products/features to build and how to deliver these products successfully to customers.

- University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design or Architecture (or similar)
- Prior experience in Product Management and/or Product Strategy
- Domain expertise in Architecture/Real Estate Development/Construction is a strong asset
- The ability to excite and inspire others around a common goal
