We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Delivery Logistics team in Oda
At Oda, we believe in the power of data to drive decisions and enhance our operations. We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our Delivery Logistics team, where you will play a key role in understanding performance metrics and business drivers, providing valuable insights to improve our delivery processes to our many customers.
As a Data Analyst in the Delivery team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other data analysts, to analyze data that supports the optimization of our delivery logistics. Your primary focus will be on tracking and improving delivery performance, route efficiency, scheduling, and customer experience. You will enable data-driven decision-making by turning complex data into actionable insights that drive improvements across our logistics network. Data Analysts at Oda help the business understand the "why" behind performance trends, allowing us to make better decisions based on solid data. Your work will support operational improvements, so we can make smart, data-driven decisions that improve performance and customer satisfaction.
This role is based at our Oslo office at Tøyen, and we'd love for you to join us on-site.
What you'll be doing as Data Analyst
- Plan and execute small to medium-sized analytics projects within the logistics platform, from defining the problem to delivering a final solution.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and solve logistics challenges in Delivery based on data and analysis.
- Build robust, shareable, and long-term analytics models to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze complex logistics challenges and break them down into manageable parts using data and insights.
- Spend time at out in Delivery operations to observe, analyze and understand our operation, identify opportunities for improvement, and work closely with the Delivery operations in Norway and Sweden to improve processes and develop solutions grounded in real-world operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar, working on small to medium projects, ideally in a product and tech team.
- A degree in a field like statistics, technology, optimization, or business.
- Experience improving products or processes through analysis, especially for digital solutions.
- Comfortable with statistics and SQL, with some programming experience (e.g., Python), and eager to learn more.
- We use English as our main language at work, so it's important to be fluent in English. Knowing Norwegian or Swedish is a plus and will be helpful in this role.
To thrive in this role, we believe you'll enjoy working independently while being a key part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. You're passionate about telling stories with data, building easy-to-understand dashboards, and finding the best solutions to analysis problems. You'll work closely with stakeholder teams to understand their challenges and use data to drive solutions, all while helping others improve their data skills along the way.
If you have experience in logistics, that's a plus as we believe it will give you a deeper understanding of the exciting challenges we're tackling.
What we offer
- A chance to make a real impact as a Data Analyst in a fast-moving company with a product people love—while shaking up the grocery industry.
- Teammates who aim high and have each other's backs. We care about people, and that means supporting each other every step of the way.
- A flat structure where we team up across disciplines to solve exciting challenges. Big ideas come from everywhere
- A transparent way of working. We use Slack to stay in the loop—less email, fewer meetings, more getting things done.
- A buzzing office at Tøyen, with lunch made by our very own chefs.
- A collaborative approach—we tackle exciting tech and product challenges together, across different fields.
- A chance to shape the future of grocery shopping while building a company that's here to stay.
A few final words
At Oda, you'll join a passionate, ambitious team working to change the future of grocery shopping. We're all different—just like you—and we wouldn't have it any other way. If you need any adjustments or support during the application process, just let us know, and we'll do our best to help. We believe in the strength of a diverse workforce and want everyone to have an equal shot at landing the job.
