BiSN is the global leader in bismuth-based downhole sealing solutions, transforming well integrity with engineered alternatives to cement. We are expanding our presence across the Norwegian Continental Shelf and are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate adoption of our proven wel-lok technology. This is a Stavanger-based role with regional travel across Norway and mainland Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Norwegian Continental Shelf and wider European markets.
  • Build and manage relationships with key operators, service companies, and industry partners.
  • Drive commercial engagement and promote BiSN solutions across P&A, Intervention, and Completions applications.
  • Deliver against regional sales targets through a mix of direct selling and strategic account development.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Lead sales negotiations, prepare proposals, and close contracts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Work with internal engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure delivery alignment.
  • Maintain a clear pipeline and forecast using the company CRM system (Pipedrive).
  • Provide weekly sales activity reporting and CRM updates to regional leadership.
  • Support development of regional sales plans and strategic campaigns.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team and across the organisation.
  • Support key project delivery with a focus on quality and schedule adherence.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in technical sales or business development within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of downhole tools and operations including P&A, well interventions, and completions.
  • Established network within Norwegian operators or strong commercial background with a hunger to grow.
  • Proven track record in building relationships, developing accounts, and closing sales.
  • Ability to read and understand well schematics and customer programs.
  • Commercially aware, self-motivated, and focused on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Experience in customer tenders and market surveys is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Pipedrive preferred) and strong general IT skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Degree in business, engineering, or a relevant petroleum-related field preferred.
  • Field or offshore operations experience is desirable but not required.
  • Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills strongly preferred.
  • Based in Stavanger; able to travel within Norway and Europe as required.
