Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer/Checker to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and checking piping systems for our clients in the oil, gas, and land-based industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement piping layouts using Aveva Everything 3D (E3D), EQP-, and Draft modeling software.
  • Perform thorough piping checks and design activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective material handling, access, and maintenance of piping systems.
  • Conduct independent piping studies to identify potential issues and optimize system performance.
  • Coordinate with multidiscipline teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and present design proposals and reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project deadlines, quality requirements, and NorSok standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in EPC new build projects.
  • Strong understanding of multidiscipline design processes and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
