Piping and Senior Pipe Support Designer and Checker

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping / Senior Pipe Support Designer & Checker to join our team at Techconsult AS.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop pipe support systems, including modeling, calculations, and drawing production.
  2. Review and validate pipe support detailed drawings, providing feedback to designers for improvements.
  3. Perform and check frame calculations, as well as other relevant calculations, such as trunnions.
  4. Collaborate with piping and pipestress teams to ensure optimal support solutions.
  5. Utilize E3D modeling tool and Staad-based programs to create and analyze pipe support designs.
  6. Develop a strong understanding of project plans and deadlines, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 12 years of experience in EPC new build and modification projects, specifically in pipe support design.
  3. Proven multidiscipline knowledge and ability to work proactively in the design process.
  4. Experience with Aveva Everything 3D (E3D) modeling tool and Staad-based programs.
  5. Offshore and fabrication experience is a plus.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
  7. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
