Key Responsibilities- Piping Design and Checking: Perform piping and checking activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design Review and Coordination: Coordinate with designers and other disciplines to ensure optimal solutions and resolve design discrepancies.
- Piping Layout Experience: Utilize Aveva Everything 3D (E3D) and EQP- and Draft modeling to create accurate and efficient piping layouts.
- Material Handling and Access: Focus on material handling aspects, access/maintenance, and working environment in physical layout and piping design.
- Independent Piping Studies: Perform independent piping studies to identify potential issues and optimize design solutions.
- Design Review and Presentation: Present design solutions and tasks in design reviews, demonstrating flexibility and effective communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of EPC new build experience in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
- Design Knowledge: Layout and design based on NorSok knowledge and standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, seeking advice and sharing experience in design processes.
- Project Management: High loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirements, with a systematic and accurate approach.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and communicate in English (oral and written). Norwegian language skills are appreciated.
