Our Technology

We own no physical production assets or servers, instead, our asset is a cloud-based connectivity platform that enables world-class on-demand production for e-commerce platforms and applications. This engineered platform provides our customers access to more than 130 production partners in 32 countries and includes production plate design, routing to an appropriate partner, finally linking to logistics' systems for delivery to the consumer. All this in 72 hours and reaching more than 5 billion people and potential consumers in a smarter, faster, and greener way.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. In this role, you'll design and implement strategic initiatives that propel Gelato's infrastructure forward, ensuring alignment with our rapid growth and innovation objectives. You'll be an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) champion, driving automation to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategic initiatives to propel Gelato's infrastructure forward
  • Drive automation to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and cost-effectiveness
  • Partner with Engineering to craft resilient cloud applications
  • Contribute to our culture of continuous availability by participating in the on-call rotation
  • Explore the use of AI to modernize our cloud production platform
  • Promote a FinOps mindset to optimize cloud costs


What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess deep expertise in major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a thorough understanding of cloud best practices. You'll have proven expertise in essential cloud DevOps automation tools like Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, and Helm. Your experience will drive seamless CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerization for our SaaS environment. You'll also have working knowledge of programming languages like Python and Go, as well as modern platform development and infrastructure automation.
