About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Platform Architect to join our team at Veracity by DNV. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust cloud solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Design: Develop and propose cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Platform Lead Architect, Tech Lead, Project Manager, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and deliverables.
  • Proof of Concept (POC): Conduct POCs to validate architectural decisions and ensure feasibility.
  • Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to our product team to enhance product features and performance.
  • Azure Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions.
  • Coding: Write and review code to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and solutions.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior team members in cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements
  • Architecture Experience: Over 5 years of experience in platform or software architecture, with a successful history of designing and implementing complex, scalable systems.
  • Cloud Expertise: In-depth experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with a solid understanding of architectural frameworks.
  • Development Proficiency: Strong skills in both front-end and back-end technologies, especially in web application development using the Microsoft.NET framework.
  • API & Data Management: Comprehensive understanding of API management, data platforms, application networks, and integration frameworks.
  • Design Patterns & Security: Expertise in software design patterns, security protocols, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Performance & Optimization: Proven experience in performance monitoring, optimization, and risk management within software architecture.
Essential Professional Qualities
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, emphasizing collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
