Geotechnical Laboratory Manager

ProjectZero is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Laboratory Manager to lead our team in an ambitious project involving the construction of roads, tunnels, and an oversea suspended steel bridge.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the geotechnical laboratory, ensuring efficient and accurate testing and analysis.
- Coordinate the collection of soil, rock, and other geotechnical samples from the project site, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct and supervise various geotechnical tests, including soil compaction, grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, triaxial shear tests, and unconfined compression tests.
- Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, providing recommendations for construction.
- Interpret geotechnical data to provide insights and support to project engineers, designers, and construction teams.
- Ensure all data is accurately recorded, analyzed, and stored in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide geotechnical expertise and support, ensuring compliance with local regulations and contractual requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest geotechnical engineering practices, standards, and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical laboratory management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively and provide technical guidance.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and laboratory equipment, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
