Geotechnical Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Laboratory Manager to join our team at ProjectZero for an ambitious project involving the construction of roads, tunnels, and an oversea suspended steel bridge.
Key Responsibilities- Lab Operations Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the geotechnical laboratory, ensuring efficient and effective testing and analysis.
- Sample Collection and Testing: Coordinate the collection of soil, rock, and other geotechnical samples from the project site, and conduct various geotechnical tests, including soil compaction, grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, triaxial shear tests, and unconfined compression tests.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, and provide recommendations for construction based on geotechnical data.
- Communication and Collaboration: Prepare and present detailed reports to project engineers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, and collaborate with project engineers, designers, and construction teams to provide geotechnical insights and support.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all geotechnical activities comply with local regulations and contractual requirements, and stay updated with the latest geotechnical engineering practices, standards, and technologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical laboratory management, with proven experience with geotechnical investigations and testing in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively, and excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in geotechnical software and laboratory equipment.
