We are seeking an experienced Sustainability and ESG Manager to join our team and lead our ESG initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in ESG roles. About the role
The Sustainability and ESG Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our ESG strategy, which includes environmental stewardship, social responsibility, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing the company's ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Setting measurable ESG goals, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to track progress.
- Identifying and addressing ESG risks and opportunities within the business, particularly related to industrial applications.
- Leading initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint, including carbon reduction, waste management, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate sustainability principles into software and AI solutions.
- Implementing sustainable procurement policies and partnerships with eco-conscious vendors and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with global ESG regulations, particularly Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and ESRS.
- Leading ESG reporting, including preparing annual sustainability reports and disclosures for investors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Establishing policies to ensure responsible data management, cybersecurity, and AI use, addressing ethical concerns related to industrial AI applications.
- Engaging with investors, customers, and regulatory bodies to communicate the company's ESG performance and commitments.
- Carrying out third-party due diligence to ensure ESG compliance.
- Working closely with the marketing and communications teams to enhance the company's ESG narrative and showcase its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
- Staying informed on emerging ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to evolve the company's approach continuously.
- Project managing and leading annual ESG reporting.
