Job Overview

We are at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use, with a mission to create an abundant supply of labor through safe, intelligent automation. 1X Technologies AS is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the cross-functional efforts that will bring our groundbreaking product to market.

About the Role

The TPM for our Neo robot will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of the robot's development, from concept through production and reports directly to the CEO. You will manage project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure that cross-functional teams are aligned on goals and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Drive the end-to-end execution of the Neo robot program, ensuring that project goals are met within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with hardware, software, product management, manufacturing, and quality teams to coordinate efforts, resolve issues, and ensure alignment.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring that project deliverables meet both technical and functional requirements.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans to keep the program on track.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) or in a similar role within a hardware, robotics, or technology company.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of hardware and software development processes, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects. Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
