Position Overview
This position offers a distinctive opportunity for both personal and professional advancement by joining the team engaged in Asset Management activities in India. The role necessitates oversight of all operational functions, management of operational and maintenance teams, financial oversight, contract administration, environmental compliance, regulatory adherence, technical and risk assessments, and stakeholder relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and manage the asset portfolio in alignment with Statkraft's operational standards, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness according to investment objectives. Formulate a vision for portfolio management within the renewable energy sector (Hydro, Wind, and Solar), encompassing forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and performance evaluation. Enhance asset value and secure total returns for each asset through efficiency analysis and identification of improvement opportunities. Establish, set, and monitor performance KPIs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with asset plans. Collaborate with internal departments, including sustainability, legal, tax, accounting, procurement, and finance, to implement effective process solutions. Refine processes and reviews to facilitate decision-making, prioritization, and progress tracking across key stakeholders. Assist the financial controller with P&L variance analysis and asset budget reviews. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and manage insurance and claims processes. Uphold compliance with Statkraft's standards and regulatory requirements concerning Business Ethics, Health, Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility. Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal and external service providers and key stakeholders. Ensure timely reporting of asset plans and performance metrics to asset owners and key stakeholders. Support Business Development initiatives (M&A and greenfield projects) through detailed preparation of long-term budgets and benchmarking across renewable energy technologies for strategic planning.Qualifications
Background and Experience
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector (Hydro, Wind, and Solar). A relevant university degree (Master's or Bachelor's), preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (engineering background is essential). Familiarity with operational requirements for hydroelectric plants, wind farms, and utility-scale solar installations. Experience in Business Development related to Wind, Eolic, and Solar projects is advantageous. Proficiency in managing complex contractual agreements, including negotiation and adherence to scope. Strong understanding of regulations pertaining to Renewable Energy (including Hydro, Wind, Solar Power, and Grid regulations). Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams. Working knowledge of business and data intelligence software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project. Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments, occasionally under time constraints. Willingness to travel and adaptability to dynamic environments.Personal Attributes
