About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Oslo. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) standard.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a focus on food safety and workplace health and safety.
  • Perform internal and supplier audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support risk management and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
  • Monitor compliance with legal requirements and certified standards.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety and Food Safety teams to ensure a cohesive approach to safety and quality.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to logistics, energy, warehouse management, manufacturing, production, QSHE, or FMCG.
  • ISO certifications related to health, safety, and environmental management are an asset.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and/or food safety standards.
  • Experience in performing internal audits and supplier/customer satisfaction audits, with certification as a quality/lead auditor an asset.
  • Proficiency in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and document management skills, with experience with electronic quality management systems and non-conformity management systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
