About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in the construction and renewable energy sectors. You will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety management system for our green energy projects.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure that all necessary controls are in place to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that health and safety is integrated into all aspects of project planning and delivery.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Conduct audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on the latest health and safety requirements and best practices.
- Provide health and safety advice and guidance to project teams and employees.
- Develop and implement health and safety metrics and reporting to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the construction and renewable energy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, employees, and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
