About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Security Manager to join our team at Statkraft. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSS plans, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Statkraft's HSS standards.
  • Evaluate and coordinate HSS plans and programs proposed by contractors and monitor their performance to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and provide guidance to employees and contractors on safe work practices.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSS regulations.
  • Collaborate with site leadership teams to ensure effective control of personal injuries and promote a culture of reporting near misses and unsafe acts.
  • Prepare and maintain HSS statistics reports and ensure compliance with information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards.

Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical + Full-time Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 15 years of HSS experience, with 10 years in the field of construction of transmission lines and wind farms.
  • Valid GWO-certified training for working at height, manual handling, fire awareness, and first aid.
  • Awareness of ISO 45001:2018 Requirements.
  • Good level of oral and written English.
  • Physically and medically fit to perform the required role.
