Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team at Eosol Group, working on the metro project in Oslo. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and regulations at the job site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders involved in the subway project.
  • Training and Development: Conduct safety training sessions to educate employees on HSE policies, work practices, and emergency procedures, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international HSE laws and regulations, as well as internal company standards while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into any incidents or near-misses, documenting findings, and developing corrective and preventive actions to avoid future occurrences.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all HSE activities, policies, incident reports, and training documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure that safety measures are integrated into all project phases.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to senior management, highlighting areas of success, as well as challenges and proposed solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Técnico HSE, with significant involvement in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in the transport sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to construction and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading training sessions and discussions with various stakeholders.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (e.g., ISO 45001), and Environmental Management Systems (e.g., ISO) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Norwegian is a must.
