RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations for the commissioning of systems.
  • Oversee the scheduling of systems designated for commissioning.
  • Maintain the integrity of documentation related to the commissioning systems.
  • Provide reports on the status of systems undergoing commissioning.

MAIN TASKS

  • Conduct multidisciplinary commissioning activities for one or multiple complex systems within an installation, as defined by the project Completions Manager.
  • Ensure the Completions database is properly updated and that Inspection Test Records (ITRs) are assigned to the relevant equipment.
  • Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to gather all necessary design data for the commissioning process.
  • Address any construction, fabrication, or commissioning challenges in line with engineering documentation.
  • Initiate design change requests when beneficial for quality, progress, or cost efficiency, and work with systems supervisors to prepare mini-schedules and reports for project visibility.
  • Coordinate with the Project Completion Manager to arrange vendor presence on-site for commissioning activities.
  • Develop or review Operation Testing Procedures (OTPs) for the commissioning systems.
  • Propose enhancements to the Group management system to adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Delegate responsibilities and establish objectives for discipline supervisors.
  • Act as a deputy for the Project Completions Manager when necessary.
  • Refer to the company's lessons learned database for insights.
  • Manage the punch list for commissioned systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A university degree or technical diploma in Engineering or Materials Science.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management within the offshore sector, particularly with FPSO/FSO Floating Production vessels.
  • Preferably possess a mechanical or structural engineering background and be fluent in both spoken and written English.
